There are three hundred and sixty five days in a year, yes? and i like to take photos, yes? so in an effort to take more photos than i already do why not put these two ideas together. for the next three hundred and sixty five days i am going to post a new photo every day to total 365. each day a new photo for you to look at and think 'mmm, that's nice" or "i love that" or to critique and think "i dont like the way you've done that" or to simply look at and think "boy is jason talented, i wish i was as talented as him" or to completely disregard and go to another website and wait for a better picture tomorrow. either way hopefully by new years eve 2014 there wil be three hundred and sixty five photos on this site for you all to enjoy

  • 02-01-14 here comes the train; waiting for the train. why can't they be on time. glad this train wasn't cause i managed to get some cool photos! milsons point, nsw
  • 03-01-14 colourful barley fields; just south of timaru, these fields fill the paddocks creating such a stunning landscape, timaru, nz apparently these are actually canola fields. thanks to the farmer people in the know. clearly i'm not a farmer.
  • 04-01-14 bermagui river; about to cross a rickety old wooden one lane bridge in bermagui, nsw
  • 05-01-14 for mum; delicious bourke street bakery pork and fennel sausage rolls. unfortunately there was no sun left at bourke street to enjoy so found this spot instead. brilliant way to spend saturday afternoon, camp cove, nsw
  • 06-01-14 dog walking; found this in glebe yesterday, thought it was very cute, if i had a dog i'd give her a call. i want a dog. glebe, nsw
  • 07-01-14 ladybird or manbird?; look who i found on my way home tonight? man or women? bird or something else? why is it yellow and not red? pyrmont, nsw
  • 08-01-14 reflected; i wish there was one of these mirrors in the office area at work so people stop running into each other all the time. pyrmont, nsw

  • 13-01-14 empty bike lanes; i took this photo lying on my stomach as at i got up a lady asked me what i was doing, i explained that i was taking photos of the bike and arrow symbols which then lead to a ten minute conversation about bike lanes, and sig

  • 16-01-14 soba noodles; after a run in the scorching heat and a swim at long reef, these japanese soba noodles with baked salmon was a delicious way to end the day, pyrmont, nsw

  • 22-01-14 overnight stay; normally these cruise ships arrive at 6am and leave at 4pm but this baby crusie ship has decided to hang out with us tonight and lighten up the bay, pyrmont, nsw

  • 02-02-14 empty mooring, there were more ducklings in this mooring than boats. until i came along and chased them away. whoops. beautiful being near the water at sun down, tennyson point, nsw
  • 03-02-14 shelter; a beautiful spot to stop when the temperature is on the rise and catch some z's or read a few pages, dawes point, nsw
  • 04-02-14 clouds for ciara; whenever i see clouds i straight away think of ciara. so this one is again for her on the otherside of the world. a beautiful night for a walk with water, wind, ferries, sunsets and clouds! pyrmont, nsw
  • 05-02-14 stepped in history; i found these steps today all filled with coloured tiles detailing the history or pyrmont, pyrmont, nsw

ninety pictures completed! three months down. one quarter of the mission done! only two hundred and seventy five photos to go. march has been so much fun. full of travel and colour and light and lines. hopefully you have enjoyed march as much as i have. but now it's april and time for laughter, let's do it!

One hundred and fifty one complete 

seven months, thirty weeks, two hundred and fourteen days, three seasons to go. hope you are as excited as i am. keep you seatbelt on as there will be so many exciting photos to come! especially as vivid sydney continues! whoo!

That's a pass 

fifty percent. half way. six twelfths. c-. no matter which way you say the hard yards are done and im on the home straight. six months down. one hundred and eighty one photos complete. one hundred and eighty four to go. whoop. its been an exciting yet challenging  journey so far and there'll be no shortage of photos this month for dry july. i'm over the hump and on the home stretch. get excited, get inspired and smile as you enjoy july's adventures throughout two countries, two australian states and a lot more day light.

Number nine here we go 

it's been a crazy month with anne and bridget coming to hang out in sydney, a big oxfam race and a well deserved holiday, august is now complete and i am officially two thirds of the way there with two hundred and forty three photos completed and just one hundred and twenty two to go.

Three quarters

wow, where did the last thirty days go? it's flown by and i am now three quarters done and have completed two hundred and seventy three photos and only ninety two! whoo! now get excited for october, clearly the most awesomest month of the year.

The final hurdle
